Awards for MISTY Principal Investigator

Congratulations to Neil Adger, of the Misty: Migration, Transformation and Sustainability project, who has been recognized by the BBVA Foundation with a Frontiers of Knowledge Award for incorporating the social dimension to climate change in research.

The award is shared with Karen O’Brien and Ian Burton, who together with Adger have been leading the efforts of the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) Working Group focused on social adaptation to climate change.
